Migration
About this event: 2006 United Nations Conference on Human Rights Migration and Development
|
The British collected a number of Nepalese youngsters to the British armed forces. And they collected migrants to come and work for them. They used the migrants of Nepalese for employment purposes only. There are many villages in Nepal where labor migration has been established as a culture of a community.
Economic migration to the Middle East from South Asia and other parts of the world was spurred-on by the oil boom in the early 1970s.
Why do they need migrants to work for them?
How could they end migration?

Reflection
About this event: United Nations Day 2006
|
Today I had so much fun it was a great experience even though I got lost. I learned a lot about discrimination and how other felt about it. I had so much talking about this topic. We didn’t come to an agreement but we had fun. People had a lot of different views. Some people were kind of against immigration and some were for it. At one point I thought a fight was going to break out. But everyone was respectful of everyone’s opinions. Some people were taking about experience that they’ve witness and some talked about the one they’ve heard about. All in all I had a great experience.

We seen many parents of victims who died in the Colimbine High School Shooting. People also say that music, video games, and tv make peole so violent. Well, the director of the movie was trying to figure out why peolple say that when the president help make some violence in the area when they throw bombs in iraq and kill innocent people.

about native americans
About this category: Child & Youth Rights
|
LONG BEFORE the white man set foot on American soil, the American Indians, or rather the Native Americans, had been living in America. When the Europeans came here, there were probably about 10 million Indians populating America north of present-day Mexico. And they had been living in America for quite some time. It is believed that the first Native Americans arrived during the last ice-age, approximately 20,000 - 30,000 years ago through a land-bridge across the Bering Sound, from northeastern Siberia into Alaska. The oldest documented Indian cultures in North America are Sandia (15000 BC), Clovis (12000 BC) and Folsom (8000 BC)

in five years the 9/11 traggity has impacted on us alot and made a big change in the world as well as some peoples life Some people may say they dont care, they dont want to keep hearing about a day when someone important in their lives life got taking i dont blame them but you cant cross it out all together you shouldn't just want to forget. And say you dont care becuse saying you dont care about a day thats so precious and sad to others is disrespectful . And in my opion its very important .That was a big part of some peoples lives. They watched them buildings rise and then we all watched them falled down into a big pile of dirt and dust what was once up and sturdy is no more .some people care .And lives were taking in the anger of terrerist .Its very important and it desearves a day, a moment of silence whatever it takes to have it recognized as it should....i read Quasuans reflection and i totally agree with it i wish i could say more but it would be entirely to much.

I've always been diffrent. And I've always had to deal with people saying smart things to me.I'm tired I would always say.But never would they give up.'I'm SICK of EVERYONE talking about my stlye and the music I like".I HATE being an outkast. But no one is going to understand. If they don't know what I'm about. But it's cool.I get over it.I've come along way.And had to deal with worst situations.I'll get over it.
